Welcome to Riverside Community Garden

 

We are a volunteer-run garden in the heart of Riverside, established back in 2009.  Everyone is welcome — no experience needed!

Our little patch has grown a lot over the years and we now have over forty raised beds, a  tool shed, and a small orchard down by the river.

Come rain or shine, you'll usually find a few of us pottering about on a Saturday morning.

 

What We Offer

· Individual plot rentals from just $30 a year

· Free monthly workshops on composting, pruning and seed-saving

· A shared "give & take" produce table by the front gate

 

How To Join

Getting involved couldn't be easier. Just follow the steps below:

1. Pop down any Saturday between 9am and noon
2. Have a chat with one of the friendly coordinators
3. Fill in a membership form and you're in!

 

Where To Find Us

The garden is at the end of Willow Lane, just past the old mill. There's plenty of street parking and the number 12 bus stops right outside.
